After trying Inbox Dollars (paid to read emails), various survey sites to make money or score freebies, and other similar sites that online coupon user quickly become familiar with, I have found Swagbucks to be my favorite.

  • It is easy - you can do nothing except install their search toolbar
  • It is quick - the Swag Bucks add up without even really thinking about it
  • It is convenient - you can redeem them for Amazon.com gift cards
  • It is fun - optionally you can also search the internet for their codes

They do not spam your email, and while they do offer Swag Bucks for doing surveys, or selling your old video games to them, you can make a lot of Swag Bucks without doing any of that. All I do is use their search toolbar instead of google, and occassionaly I search for a code (see widget above). I would estimate that 90% of the Swag Bucks I get are from my normal internet use. The Swagbucks toolbar is based off Google and Ask, so it works basically the same way - only with benefits.
